As I go back through my previous monthly favorites (August here and September here) — I realize I called out the speed at which each month went by. Thankfully, in October it felt like time passed by at just the right speed. I’m not sure if it’s the cooler weather telling me to pump the brakes or our extended vacation in Paris, but October has been a month I savored.
Delfina Flats
I know I just got these last week and it might not be enough to truly provide a review but since I’ve been wearing them almost daily, I feel confident in telling you I am obsessed with them. They are everything I envisioned when I wrote about them a month ago. I am a US 9 and I typically have to size down to a 39 in European shoes. The 39 fit perfectly. The suede is buttery soft and the flats truly fit like a glove! If you’re in the EU, a few sizes are on sale and still in stock here. The same flat but different color is on sale in a few sizes here.
I have also received many compliments on them from family and strangers. I am now Aeyde’s biggest fan and will be on the lookout to try on more of their shoes. I am especially curious about their boots, specifically the Ruby, Sofie and Harriet.

Cardigans
A repeat from last month, and for good reason. I’ve worn a cardigan almost daily while we’ve been in Paris and I miss all the cardigans that I left at home. Paris is very much in sweater weather mode as it’s too hot for a winter coat, but just perfect for a few layers. I’ve either been wearing a cardigan as a shirt or layering one over something else for added warmth. My husband says I’m thriving in this weather with all my sweaters and he’s right!
I think the most versatile sweater I own is this taupe chocolate-y brown that just goes with everything. I often want to wear it daily due to how easily it drapes over my shoulders and how it hits at the perfect length when I wear it as a cardigan. It is also incredibly soft which is not surprising given that it is 100% cashmere. Another sweater I have been reaching for constantly has been this light beige one — it’s my favorite sweater that Sézane makes. It’s the softest one (in my opinion) and it’s one I’ve since acquired in another color, a true keeper.
Sateen Pants
You already know that my love for Buck Mason runs deep. If you missed my extensive try on, you can read about it here. I have shamelessly been wearing these sateen pants several times a week. They are insanely comfortable and I adore the look of a roomy straight leg pant that’s not a trouser or a jean. It currently comes in two colors and I hope they expand their color selection because I could easily see myself purchasing more.
I don’t think I’ve been this excited about pants in a while. If you give any of their items a try, I hope it’s this one.

Francesca Purse
I might sound like a broken record for my continuous mentions of this purse, but I think it’s the perfect bag to carry on the go. I personally wear it on my wrist 99% of the time and it works great to carry my essentials. Even though it doesn’t have a zipper, I love that you can cinch it shut.
Crown Affair Clips
This is another repeat mention but I’m here to say they are multipurpose and for good reason. A few weeks ago, I wore one to secure my scarf in lieu of a brooch. While it wasn’t fail proof, it worked nicely considering I didn’t have another option. It was also the only set of hair clips I packed for the trip. Often attaching one to my clothes or purse as I’m walking out the door. I’ve had mine for over a year and they’re still going strong. I also own the Tortoise color.
Sleeping Mask
I’ve had this eye mask for a few months, but I’ve been wearing it more often as of late due to traveling and being in a bed that’s not mine. It’s come in super handy as I’ve been trying to snooze off for a nap or if my night owl husband is staying up to read.
It is lightweight and easily washable, which is lovely considering it is silk. I’ve thrown it in with a delicate cycle multiple times and it’s come out looking like new. I also appreciate it comes with a storage bag because it’s easily packable while having some protection from the elements.

Wandering to Coffee Dates
Since being in Paris, my husband and I have often found ourselves making our way to a coffee shop to grab a coffee (matcha for me!) and a pastry to enjoy. It truly is one of my favorite activities, there is something about a beverage in hand while on vacation that makes me feel like I am the main character.

Drinking Tea
I’m not sure if it’s because the weather is finally cooperating, a change of environment or I’m around my mother in law but I’ve been drinking more tea as of late. It’s become a lovely night time routine I’ve come to enjoy. It also helps signal to my body that we are winding down and in relaxation mode. A warm cup of tea truly feels extra cozy this time of year.
Film Photography
I had the honor of taking wedding portraits and a few BTS photos of one of my dear friends and his wife. The stakes always feel high when I’m taking photos for someone else, but the pressure was in full swing this time considering it was my friend’s wedding day. I took a mix of digital and film, but the film turned out to be my favorite (as it tends to be). It made me excited to pull out my film cameras again and it was the perfect motivation to pick up new film to experiment with while in Paris and our quick trip to Amsterdam. You can find film from last year’s trip to Amsterdam here.
