Last year, I just shared what was on my wishlist. This year, I thought I’d switch it up and share what I’m buying during the sale season instead. We often see sales shared daily (I know my inbox is overflowing with them), so here’s what I’m actually buying amidst the sea of discounts.
If you’re participating, I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. I know this time of the year can be tough for many. I hope you get some time to relax and enjoy whatever time you may be getting to yourself or sharing with loved ones. We are having Thanksgiving dinner tonight due to our insane travel plans to fly and drive a combined 10 hours on Thanksgiving day. Going to spend some time reflecting on why we thought that was a good idea but crazy schedules aside, let’s get into it!

Cocofloss
My first purchase was cocofloss. I switched to this floss after my dentist kept suggesting it during my dental check up visits. It took me a while to make the switch because it had me wondering if Big Floss was a thing (you know when you start seeing it everywhere and start wondering if it's a scam?!). Especially since floss already felt expensive enough, so this seemed a little outrageous initially!
That all changed when I caved and finally tried it — I’ve been hooked ever since. It truly makes a difference. I’m also at the point where I am willing to spend more on things that are good for my health.
P.S. If anyone has any connections and can get me the large container that’s available for dental offices only — I’ll love you forever.
Dieux
This season, I’m stocking back up on Deliverance and Air Angel. My husband also uses Deliverance, so we go through it quicker than most. I got lucky and Deliverance and Air Angel were in a bundle for 30% off.
I’ve been using Dieux since they had their own hand sanitizer. Does anyone remember that?! I have one bottle left that I’ve been selfishly hiding from my husband and I occasionally message them and ask if they’re going to bring it back. So if we all can collectively do that, that’d be great! Kidding — but if Dieux is reading this, I really hope you do.
Okay you get it. I’m a big Dieux fan. It’s safe to say anytime Dieux comes out with a new product I am eager to try it. I also appreciate their pricing transparency and all of Charlotte’s skincare knowledge.
Skinfix
Another refill I like to stock up on during sales is Skinfix’s triple lipid peptide cream. I use this during my nighttime routine. It's thick and insanely moisturizing. I’ve never tried Skinceuticals version, but people who have said this is just as great at a fraction of the price.
I also appreciate that they sell refill packs and I don’t need to buy the plastic canister over and over again. During the winter, I often switch to using this morning and night when I need a bit more moisture.
Lanolips
This is a year round staple for my husband and I. We use the ointment but I also really like the stick version when on the go. I like to apply a thick layer at night for extra hydration.
Okay now to the fun stuff. If you’re my husband, stop reading here.

AGMES
While my husband's only request for Christmas was books, I knew he would also enjoy an addition to his jewelry collection. Two years ago, I bought him this ring and this year I wanted to get him a nicer piece. When I saw this ring at AGMES I knew it’d be a perfect addition to his collection.
If you have unisex brands or pieces that you love, I’d love to know. I wanted to buy my husband a bracelet from Kinn Studio, but I could not decide on a style. Instead my Mother in Law found this one and I think it will be a great initial piece.
Vince
I’ve been eyeing these satin pants for 1.5+ years. I’ve talked about them before and I often found them to be sold out in my color of choice. I was browsing the sale in hopes that my size had come back in stock — this year I got lucky. I am hoping my search is officially over and that they work because I can’t quite recall what size worked best when I initially tried them. Cross your fingers for me!
I bought them at a discounted rate, but when I open the link at different times they seem to oscillate between being final sale and just being on sale.
Bombas
I had bought a few of the frilly socks from Bombas earlier this year and I really like them. They were one of the few pairs of socks that did not slide on me as we walked all over Paris. I decided to buy a few more — including this red pair. I’ve wanted a red pair to wear with loafers in the winter and I’m hoping this shade is a good one. If you have other recommendations, drop them below!
Leset
I’ve been wanting a pointelle pant for lounging at home for a while. I had originally contemplated these from Donni. I had also heard great things about Leset’s pointelle fabric from
via One Star Reviews. I know Kelly means business when it comes to her reviews, so I thought this would be the perfect chance to try Leset’s version. While I was adding these to my cart, I saw
share these pants. I decided to give both a try — worst case, they get returned. I’ll keep you posted! If these or the Vince pants end up working for me, I told my husband to wrap them up for me for Christmas. Finding pants you love is hard enough, so I’d happily open these as a Christmas gift even if I got them for myself and got a preview of them.soldout.nyc
While checking to see if The Everything Shirt in white was included in the sale, I spotted this scoop tank. I have been on the hunt for a scoop neck tank for a while now. In my search, I’ve found the scoop to be too high or not the shape I'm looking for. This one looked promising though. I haven’t purchased it yet, but it’s something I’m considering while the sale is ongoing.
Their version of a white t-shirt also looks like a great option. I have been looking for a slightly oversized t-shirt that’s not see through and has a longer sleeve length (most of the time I find they’re slightly too angled!). I might purchase these at the last minute to see if they work for me. If you’ve tried either of them, I’d love to know your opinion.
A Few Really Good Sales
I don’t want to bombard you with things I’m not buying, but here are a few sales that I would shop if I hadn’t reached my self-imposed shopping allowance.

A.EMERY
They have a private sale going on — so even if you’re on their website you won’t see them advertise it. It’s site wide and it’s 25% off. I own two sandals from A.EMERY and love them both. I’ve talked about them here. If I had a bit more confidence in my ballet flat size with A.EMERY I probably would have been reckless and purchased these. I have been recently fixated with flats that have a “v” shape — if that makes sense. I’m on the hunt for a white flat and these look dreamy. Additionally, this wrap is beautiful and something that will go on my noteworthy list.
M.GEMI
If these were available in my size they’d be on my Christmas wishlist (I tend to prioritize gift requests to sales because you can always buy something full price any other time of the year!). I own a pair of patent flats and they are extremely comfortable. They have a slight hidden wedge built in that makes these super easy to clock 10k steps in.
I also wanted to mention one of my most worn purses is included in the sale. You’ve seen it with countless of my outfits (here, here and here just to give a few examples).
Levi’s
I own a handful of the 501 90s and wear them several times a week. They are the closest I’ve found to vintage Levis. Two colors I'm into right now are these perfect medium blue and this washed dark grey and black. I am also curious about their ankle version. Currently 40% off!
If you missed it, I curated a gift guide from the perspective of things I’ve been gifted, have gifted to someone or purchased for myself. I also have a running list of sales including discount codes, sale duration, etc.
You can find the rest of the list here.
Donation Reminder
A reminder that I am attempting to raise $500 dollars to donate to charity from my affiliate links. If you have charities you like, please comment below so they can be included in the poll!
Lastly, double check the return policies for anything you’re buying on sale. Especially if you’re not familiar with them. You don’t want to get stuck with something you don’t love even if you bought it on sale!
Are you participating in any Black Friday sales? If so, I’d love to know what you bought.
Also, after this week — we’re back to non-sale related content!
