With spring quickly approaching, I’ve been thinking more about what I’d love to have in my closet to ease my transition into summer. I wanted to share what’s on my wishlist — many of these have been on it since last summer!
Black Sandals
Shopping for sandals is a struggle for me. I have narrow feet and most sandals are often too big for my feet. When I came across these from Essen, I was immediately smitten. I messaged customer service to ask about how they fit and the owner replied to me directly. She was the sweetest and super helpful with sizing and fit. From customer service alone, I’d love to try these on at some point.

Elevated Tops
I tend to wear lots of knit tops throughout the seasons, so I’ve been thinking about including some other silhouettes and fabrics to my wardrobe. There are two silhouettes I’ve had my eye on: a strapless top and a structured vest.
I came across this strapless wool top from COS that appears to fit the bill. I love that it's a 100% wool option and it’s definitely something I can reach for all year long and easily layer in the winter months.
As for the structured vest, I struggle between a linen option or a thicker and less wrinkle prone fabric. I initially saw this option from Posse, but I think I’d prefer an option that was more fitted and provided a bit more shape. I am also leaning toward a less true vest shape – I came across three options from Reformation: Casey, Oakley and Aspen. While I like all of them, I think I’m partial to the v neck option. I need to do more sifting on what vest I’ll purchase, because I also like the idea of something like this. Ultimately, I am craving more elevated tops that can be dressed up and down depending on the day.

T-Shirts
Last fall, I fell in love with COS’ clean cut t-shirts and wear mine allll the time. I want to add another black and white option to my rotation since I find myself wanting to wear them multiple days of the week. I’m hoping to find something a bit more slouchy and less structured to add some variety. This one from Everlane would be perfect if it was cut differently. I’m not the biggest fan of the seams, but I’d be up for giving it a try.
I also want to add some scoop neck tanks. I often reach for this one to layer or wear on its own. I’d love an option that was a true scoop neck: I’ve been eyeing this one from Sézane for a while.

Linen Bottoms
I go back and forth between wanting a structured style or something more relaxed. I do own a pair of white, semi-structured pants that I like and have been pulling out as the weather is warming up, but some days I’m craving something with even more defined lines.
I like the idea of something like this, because it’d be a more casual and easy style throughout the spring and summer. Olina would be a great drawstring option that’s more straight legged. I’ve been eyeing Posse’s linen trousers for a while and their Wyatt option is relaxed but structured. Reformation has a cheaper option that appears to be slightly more fitted through the legs.

Satin or Cotton Pants
I’ve been on the hunt for a satin bottom for a year now. Last year, I found a strong contender from Reformation. I also fell in love with this satin option from Vince. I tried these in store and they had a slight texture to them. They unfortunately didn’t have my size and I haven’t been able to find them on any resale sites. I still dream of them.
Another option I’ve been crushing on are Donni’s pop pants. I was ready to buy them last summer but they unfortunately sold out before I could checkout. Absolutely love that they are 100% cotton.

Lightweight Sweater or Cardigan
I’ve been wearing my Gaspard sweater on repeat. I’d love to add more colors to my collection. It’s lightweight and versatile enough to wear over the shoulders, open over a tank top or on its own for chillier days. I personally find Gaspard soft enough to wear on its own.
Sweaters are also a great option to serve as transitional pieces - they can easily translate into a fall wardrobe option. I am personally loving this pattern and it’s now high up on my wishlist.
I’m also intrigued with sweaters as shirts. I recently saw this short sleeve cardigan and short sleeve jumper from Sézane that I’m surprisingly into. They are a fun twist on something I would typically wear in a different fabric. I’ve added these options to my noteworthy list to contemplate.

Colorful Accessories
I’ve been wearing loafers and flats non-stop the past few months. I have been craving a pop of color and I think doing it via a shoe is a great way to do so. Two options I’ve been eyeing are the Odette flats from DÔEN and the Jada flats from FRĒDA SALVADOR. Odette leans more towards the traditional flat look while Jada has a square toe box that is a fun twist on a ballet flat.
This is more of a bonus, but I've been pondering adding a colorful purse to my collection. While I haven’t quite landed on a color or bag type, here are a few that have caught my eye lately.
This circular bag in Apricot or Strawberry caught my eye initially. I’m still crushing on this Vinno Rosso from Porto. I also really like the idea of a light blue purse to pair with outfits. It wouldn’t be the dawn of a warmer season without me contemplating a raffia bag. I’ve had my eye on this one since last summer, but I recently came across this option from Sézane and I’m now feeling torn. I do like how the Justine has a drawstring option, and I know what you’re thinking, these aren’t that colorful. In this case, I’m slowly trying to get out of my comfort zone while ensuring I add an option to my closet that is intentional and can be paired with my existing items.

What are you looking forward to in the spring? Is there anything you’re shopping for?
