Okay, now that we’ve officially crossed the Spring arrival threshold, I feel like I can finally think about this. It’s been a long time since I’ve lived in a place with seasons, so I’m trying to remember what it’s like to have weather variance not just within a season but also within the same day. One thing I’m trying to remember as the weather gets warmer is that layers are definitely key — especially if I’m leaving the house in the morning or planning to be out for several hours. I also forget how much walking warms you up!

Lighter Jackets
Some days it’s been a bit too warm for my winter coat, but not warm enough to leave it at home. When I think of what could be a good interim solution, two things come to mind. A cotton jacket or an unlined wool coat. I fell in love with this coat in January, but it’s just not currently in the budget. Alternatively, I think a cotton jacket like this, feels a bit more spring forward. Until it warms up, I can wear a sweater underneath for added warmth.
Two jackets on my radar — one (pictured below — releasing soon!) from Gillian Stevens and this one from Soeur. I personally love gingham! I also own this gingham dress from Gillian Stevens that I wrote about last summer and cannot wait to wear again. It’s a fun pattern for spring, but also thick enough for a crisp summer morning. It’s a bit longer, more straight cut and slightly oversized — a perfect piece for layering. Alternatively, I love how you can cinch this one at the waist. I’m also into the white “lines” that pop out against the beige. While searching, I found this short wool coat I tried on last fall in light beige, but ultimately wanted something darker and patience paid off this time!
PS — Gillian Stevens launches her Spring Part I collection on March 25th at 7AM PST. She typically released a look book a few days before with sizing. Definitely recommend setting up a notification in case you’re interested!
Loafers
One thing about me is that I am always on a passive loafer hunt. While I would really love a white pair of loafers, I am also open to a croc chocolate option. I’ve found myself wishing I had a white loafer option when my clothes are a bit on the darker side — I love the contrast to break up the excessive matchy matchy.
If you read this article, you’ve already heard me talk about this pair and unfortunately (for my wallet but not for me), they’re divine. I haven’t quite found a croc chocolate brown pair I am fawning over, but if you see one, send it my way please! I also go back to these two toned beauties often.
T-Shirts
I desperately need more layering t-shirts and while it’s not as fun and exciting as everything else on this list, it’ll be one of the first purchases I make. Recently, I’ve found myself in a cyclical pattern of wearing and immediately needing to wash the two t-shirts I have to be able to rewear again.
As it gets warmer, I know I’ll need to be able to take off a layer or two and having t-shirts that work for layering and wearing on their own will be imperative. If I was in the US, I’d buy this one (I bought the wrong size before our move and didn’t have enough time to exchange) and I’d buy them in a set. I made this video talking about the COS version in case you’re curious!

White Flats
I own these from M.GEMI and they’re the most comfortable pair of flats I’ve ever owned. They have a slight wedge, so there is built in comfort for high step days. Last year, they released these and before I could snag the off white version it sold out. They came back for pre-order, but I also missed that window.
I’ve also tried these from A.EMERY and they feel like butter. I tried on the black version a few months ago and I still think of them. For me, they ran about one full size big — fyi! PS — these are not white, but these suede options (dark brown and orangey brown) look dreamy.

Statement Jewelry Pieces
I desperately want to create a necklace stack, but it just has not been my strong suit in recent years. While I manage to find pieces I love and that pair well together, I have found myself mostly focusing on earrings, bracelets and rings instead.
As you know, I love wearing earrings as a way to elevate an outfit and I’ve been eyeing a few pieces. Most notably, this necklace that I want to double as a belt and this chunky bracelet to cuff over a button down. As the weather gets warmer and I can leave my gloves at home, I am looking to adorn my fingers with some beautiful gems — like this beauty. I’m also keeping an eye out for pieces at the flea markets, where I know I could score some great pieces at a great price.
A Fun Want
Admittedly, my wishlist items are often things that are somewhat of a “need” or something I’ve been mulling over for a while. This has been an impulsive want kept at the very bottom of my wishlist. Realistically speaking it’s aspirational. I would love another color of this Wandler purse (light blue color is 40% off here).
Specifically, this deep purpley/burgundy color I saw a few months ago. It’s just stunning, it keeps going in and out of stock so that plays with my practical shopping heart. I own the structured version and it’s been recently reimagined to be slouchy. It’s also cheaper than the original structured purse! For context, I bought mine 2.5 years ago for ~$400 (originally ~$700 and the slouchy version retails for $545.
PS — I also own this one in black and it’s become my go to daily bag. This dark chocolate color is currently 40% off!

I have a pair of white loafers that I love for breaking up my outfits. BUT my holy grail loafer is the YSL Le Loafer so you linking it in white has me drooling!!
I have the same problem with white t-shirts! I only own a couple and I feel like I’m in a constant cycle of washing and rewearing them 😂
